It doesn’t have Blu-Ray support, so you’ll need to find another external drive if you care about that.
Apple’s isn’t the only option — you can also buy third-party ones, and you’ll find many of them and elsewhere. If you have multiple Macs, such an external drive will allow you to plug it into any Mac you’re using, getting the benefits of optical disc support when you actually need it. Option 2: Use Remote Disc Sharing Luckily, it’s possible to use discs without buying an external drive thanks to the built-in Remote Disc feature. The appropriate server software is included on a Mac, so you’ll just have to enable it.

On your router, ensure no kind of is enabled that will prevent the computers from communicating. I can't seem to zoom to 200% (or 50%) with embedded streams as I could with earlier versions of WMP. How do I configure it to resize streaming videos (like live cams) to 200%? The zoom choices I want are faded and inactive, although the Full Screen works just fine. The stand-alone player resizes as usual, but it is the embedded streams that I can't zoom. Makes me want my 7.1 back but alas, it is too late. I can not move songs Up or down on the playlist. I right click on the song to be moved but the up/down feature is not highlighed as a usable option.
I can't seem to burn my cd's from the music that I have copied from another cd. It comes up with an error and says it cannot copy. I don't understand, I have copied some before with no problem. I tells me to try other cd's or to lower the recording speed.
I have the recording speed set at 1x. It will not go any lower. Can someone please help me with this problem. I am getting very frustrated and throughing out cd's. I would appreciate some help. Bonnie I have Windows Media Player 9. Similar Threads: 1.
I routinely copy cds i've bought to windows media player to listen to them on my computer. Yesterday and today however i have tried copying a couple of cd's and i've had some problems. If i open up the library folder, then the artist folder, the folder for the album is there, and in there, all song files are there. The problem is with the sidebar that lists the albums. The first cd i tried copying came up there, but none of the songs did; the folder remained empty.
In addition, when i deleted the folder, it remained on the sidebar. So this nonexistent folder is still there. Now, the last cd i tried to copy isn't showing up at all. Like i said, the artist folder is present in the library folder, and the album folder is in the artist folder. But it won't appear on the sidebar, so i can't easily access the album. Any help is hugely appreciated, thanks. I am trying to copy 2 different cd's that have the same title.
They have different songs on each. They are Disc 1 and Disc 2. They are from Warner Special Products. How do I get both disc copied? Just a quick question about copying CDs (those that I already own) to my computer. I use Windows Media Player (Windows 2000) to do this.
The problem I am having is this: When I first started copying CDs to my computer, Windows Media Player was set up so that the copying happened faster than the CD could be played. Now, for some reason, the copying only takes place while the album is playing (all the way through), so I have to wait much longer for the whole CD to be copied (until each song on the CD has been played). The additional problem is that the copied songs do not come out as clearly as they did when I was first copying CDs.
What I have been doing is, once I am in Windows Media Player: 1) I click on 'Copy from CD' (on the left of the screen) 2) then I click on 'Find Album Info' 3) then I click on 'Copy Music' on the top right of the screen. So, I am wondering if I can do anything so that I can copy the CDs faster (basically, without the CD itself playing while the copying is going on). I have copied many cd's to my media player library and have listened tothem while on my computer frequently. But as of today the media player no longer plays them back giving me this reason;c00d1199 cannot play file. My question is why was it playing fine so many times before and now it won't? Can anyone help me?
